Love is… The most important thing in life. For me it is love from my family and friends.

Marriage... Is a beautiful institution if you believe in it.

Your first crush... Was in school when I was in sixth standard. It was on my science teacher who was incredibly beautiful.

Your first date... Was in my FYJC. It was raining that day and we walked for almost an hour and had coffee whilst it was raining.

Your ideal woman should be… A mix of good looks and a good human-being.

Your dream date... Angelina Jolie.

What you did on your last birthday... It was a close affair with my family. One of my friends got me a surprise birthday cake and then we all went out to have dinner.

How many places have you lived in... I am basically a Mumbai person. Otherwise I go to Delhi at frequent intervals as it’s my mother’s home town.

Your long lasting friend… Mazhar. We belong to the same profession and have been friends since the past seven-eight years.

Do you make friends easily... I come across as a friendly person but I choose my friends. I am an easy going guy but very few names are there on my list of very close friends.

What kind of music do you like… I prefer English music. I like English hip-hop numbers, slow rock and soft music.

One thing you want to change about yourself... I would like to change my hair. I feel I could have had much better hair.

Favourite TV show… Friends, OC and Hotel Kingston.

Favourite actor in Bollywood… Aamir Khan at present but on the whole it has to be Amitabh Bachchan.

Favourite actor in Tellywood… Supriya Pathak.

Favourite cartoon character... Johnny Bravo.

Last movie you watched… Jab We Met.

How do you rate yourself as an actor... On a serious note I would give myself a seven on ten with some scope of improvement. When it comes to confidence I would give an 11 on ten.

Last time you boarded a local train... It was some four-five years back from Andheri to Mahalaxmi.

Last time you were stalked... Few months back I was dining with my friends and some fans came and started taking advantage of me. It took me a good 20-25 minutes to get out of that place.

Last time you went for shopping... Yesterday. I went to Benetton and bought a very smart shirt. I go every week for shopping.

Last time you cried off the screen... Recently when I was watching Mahesh Bhatt’s Kaash with Jackie Shroff and Dimple Kapadia as its cast. Every time I watch it I can’t help crying.

Last time you cooked... I can’t cook. I can just make tea and boil eggs for myself.

If not an actor then ... I would have been a cricketer.

Advice to youngsters… Please stay away from bad things as you can get carried away. Enjoy but have the ball in the centre with your goal clear in mind.
