Narayani Shastri, one of the most pretty and talented actresses of Indian television industry went missing after doing positive act in Zee's Piya Ka Ghar is all set to come back. She will be seen in a complete new avatar in NDTV's new singing reality show Say Shava Shava.

She revealed much of an inside story in a candid chit-chat with tellychakkar

Why a singing reality show?

I'm very fond of singing and always wanted to participate in such kind of a reality show, but was never offered one. It's an ultimate opportunity for me and I want to give my 100%. All contestants will have one music director as their mentor. Overall, it will be great fun.

How is this show different from other reality shows currently on air?

Unlike other reality shows, this show will wrap up in 11days time and all of us will perform live. In fact, public voting too will be done on the spot. Overall, it will be an interesting show.

Who are the other contestants?

There are four female and four male contestants. There is Juhi Parmar, Mauli Ganguli, Divyanka, Aman Verma, Sumit Sachdev, Pulkit and Apoorv Agnihotri.

How are they as singers?

I can't comment over their singing as I've never heard them sing.

How good are you at singing?

I'm pathetic when it comes to singing. I've started doing riyas every morning. I hope to come out with some good and positive response.

How did you find your judge…Karan Johar?

Oh! He's extremely sweet. I met him once and believe me he left a lasting impression on me.

Narayani a better actor or singer?

Of course, a better actor. That's the job I'm doing since so many years. But hopefully the answer of the same question will be better singer by next year.

In the on-going reality shows generally the deserving candidate is eliminated. What's your take on it?

Two years back reality shows came up as a different concept that was appreciated all over. But now, they are getting repetitive and boring. Our show will bring in a new concept on track.

When is this show scheduled to go on air?

Some time in January next year.
