From Vipassana to cardio to weights, Romit Raj does it all


Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan practices Vipassana( a meditation technique) to keep himself fit and have a healthy mind. At present Romit is busy with his two dailies Betiyaan and Maayka on Zee TV.

My fitness mantra: I don’t have any particular mantra but I believe in Vipassana.

My exercise regime: I go for cardio and weights. Cardio is thrice and weights are four times in a week. I also practise Vipassana daily for an hour. This makes me feel content in life and rejuvenated. As per my profession I need to think on my feet and Vipassana helps me to take right decisions and gives me sound sleep.

My diet: I am a complete foodie. I eat everything but see to it that it’s less oily. For breakfast I have cornflakes and milk or a vegetable juice. Lunch is chicken and roti and for dinner I love to have either chicken or paneer with roti. I eat every thing but within limits.

My style statement is to be casual and feel comfortable in whatever you wear

Sex appeal: Easy going and confident

Word of caution: Don’t wear transparent clothes

My favourite fragrance is Sliver Shadow
