to participate in a new fun-filled show
called 'Champion Chaalbaaz No.1.'

Champion Chaalbaaz is a simple reality-based
comedy format show where contestants pull
out the most audacious pranks. In each episode,
three contestants will play three different
pranks followed by the three of them pulling
off combined pranks. These contestants will
be judged by a live studio audience and
the judges, Cyrus and Sajid, who will judge
them on their skill and finally crown India's
biggest Champion Chaalbaaz No.1.
Every episode will also feature a celebrity
prank.
Sony Entertainment Television Business Head
Albert Almeida says, "Champion.. is
the hunt for a prankster who definitely
can't match up to Sajid and Cyrus, but he/she
should come close to them. Apart from contestants
picking their prank victim, the viewers
will also have the opportunity to pick on
an individual on whom they would like the
prank to be played. This show is the Indian
version of the international format Prankstar
from Endemol."

Cyrus Broacha says jokingly, "I'm
short of cash again and that's why they've
I've joined this show. Actually, I had expressed
a desire to be a part of Sony's other new
show K for Kishore, as I'm also a Kishore
Kumar fan. But unfortunately the channel
put me here."
It's for the first time that Sajid and Cyrus
will be seen together as judges. Sajid Khan
says, "My mother was always keen on
me working with Cyrus. Her wishes have finally
come true. On a serious note, I chose to
be part of this show as the concept is really
unique."
Pranks or no pranks, one thing is sure,
with Sajid and Cyrus around, there certainly
will be no dull moment on the show.
