The
simple face with the innocent eyes and killing
smile is popular actress Parakh Madan. The
actress who rose to fame with Saathi Re
believes in simple living. We caught the
pretty lass in an interview on her way of
living and what fashion means to her.
Q: What is your definition of fashion?
Fashion for me means 'comfort'. I don't
believe in trends and wear what suits me.
The clothes that flatter you and fit well
is fashion for me.
Q: Any specific brands you prefer?
I'm not very brand conscious. I feel its
just the matter of showbazzi to wear everything
that is branded. I love what I wear and
only that matters to me.
Q. While at home, you mostly wear…
You'll find me in a casual pair of jeans
and T-shirt. I also like wearing shorts
and ganjis.
Q. What's your casual look like?
My casual look is what I'm most of the time.
I like to go for one smart pair of jeans
with casual sneakers and a formal or casual
shirt or a ganji.
Q- What do you prefer for evening wear?
It depends on the occasion. If it's a formal
theme I stick to a salwaar- kameez or sari
as I feel they are perfect and look good
on women. If the theme is formal or something
younger then I go for a nice bright dress.
Q-What about night wear?
I prefer wearing a t-shirt and shorts or
night suit. I'm not comfortable in nighties,
it has to be two- piece suit.
Q: Do you adorn yourself with accessories?
I love accessories. I crave for finger rings.
I also love belts and bracelets.
Q: Which brand do you favour for footwear?
If its casual sneakers, I go for Addidas
or Reebok. If its formal heels I go for
the Citywalk brand. It has amazing varieties
of shoes. If its mojaris I buy them from
Delhi.
Q- What are the make up products that
you prefer?
My make-up has to contain MAC or L'Oreal
brand as I have a very sensitive skin and
have to take care of it. They have a wide
variety to choose from.
Q: Which is the latest perfume that you
bought?
I've been using CK Contradiction. I started
to use it two months ago and now am addicted
to it. I have already finished two bottles
and now its time to buy the third one.
Q: Which colours do you think are a
must in a wardrobe?
Black and basic white should be there in
my wardrobe. I also like beige and with
all these three colors I can then mix and
match.
