Alok
Nath has essayed a brand new role on the
sets of Sapna Babul Ka-Bidaai. He
plays the much loved Santa Claus for the
two leading ladies namely Parul Chauhan
and Sara Khan of the serial. The senior
actor is like a mentor to them and always
treats them like his children.
He recently played Santa for them and gifted
socks containing goodies. This came as a
big and pleasant surprise to both Parul
and Sara who belong to Lucknow and Bhopal
respectively and were missing their families
on the occasion. They are busy shooting
30 days a month for Bidaai and don't
have any friends circle as such and the
production unit and co-stars are the only
family they have.
An animated Parul says, "Oh! It felt
so good. We were getting ready in our van
and Alokji, whom I lovingly call Babuji,
entered with polythene in his hand. I immediately
realised that he had got gifts for me. So
There were chocolates, candies, key-chains
and a deodorant. I was so happy."
Sara too, was very excited about the whole
incident. She says, "I was getting
ready but I was a bit upset as I was missing
my family on Christmas. It is my dady who
plays Santa and gifts me every year. But
I was in for a pleasant surprise when Alokji
played Santa for us and gave us socks which
had so many gifts inside." Sara adds,
"Alokji loves me as a child and always
tells me that I am his sweet little daughter.
He scolds me when I do something wrong."
Now for all of you whose stockings are empty,
call Santa Alok.
