Smriti’s is rolling in all her Viruddh stars for her new show, Mere Apne. After Aashka its Mihika Verma who has entered Mere Apne. She has been roped in for a shorter period but this could be stretched depending upon the demand.

“I was told that it’s going to be a short role for 25 to 30 episodes but I’m not aware of the latest change. Recently I had a word with the creative director of the show and he told me that they are planning to extend my task,” says Mikhika.

Elaborating on her character she says, “I play the role of Abha who is in love with Aditya (Amit Jain). Aditya is already married off to Saniya (Aashka Goradia). Let see what’s more in the kitty for me.”

The ravishing actress has bagged one more show on 9X. “It’s too early to spill the beans. I’ve just auditioned for it but nothing is finalised. The show will go on air in January or February. If I get this serial, it will be the lead,” she quips.

Mihika is happy to have a Godmother like Smriti in this industry. “I’m thankful to Smriti mam, she is my guide in this industry,” says the cheerful actress.
