The
pressure of working 24/7 is not a new phenomenon
for our telly actors. They have been doing
so for years. And coping with the ever increasing
demands of the small screen has become a
habit with them. We spoke to some TV celebs
about their de-stressing formulas that ensure
that the show goes on.

I agree that it gets very stressful at
times working on the sets. Moreover when
you have shooting schedules that span to
over 16 hours, the stress levels are bound
to go up. So, I have found my own stress
busting methods. In between shots, I catch
up with my co-stars as it helps to de-stress.
Moreover when I hit home after a gruelling
day at work, I make it a point to spend
40-45 min. with my pets to relieve stress.
And believe me it's a great stress buster.

The stress levels are very high for people
who are working for a daily show. They have
to shoot for 20-25 days in a month and that
too with odd working hours. It's not only
their health which is at stake but also
their personal lives. I think it is very
important to have healthy diet combined
with regular exercising if one wants to
keep stress in check.
Nigaar Khan
Thankfully my strict health regimen ensures
that I am not completely stressed out. At
the moment I am doing a comedy show and
it keeps me smiling all the time. So, whatever
stress I experience is normal and pretty
healthy. I never get paranoid about things.
Amir Ali
Since I work for 12 hours daily, stress
has become my constant companion. I try
to de-stress myself through night-outs and
getting good sleep. At the moment I have
no time to work-out, but I guess it's one
of the best way to keep the stress away.
Anoop Soni
The entertainment industry has a stressful
time table and one cannot help but accept
it. I think it's important to cope with
the stress than to crib about it. I make
sure to carry some books and my laptop on
the shoot to have some relaxing moments
in between the shots. Apart from this I
do regular work out to stay de-stressed
and fit.
