Animals distress Tarun

Tarun Khanna who plays Aditya in Sahara One's Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye and the legal shark Dhanraj Singhania in Kulvaddhu, recently shot for an episodic of Aahat on Sony. In the show he plays the role of Dipesh whose past catches up with him and starts haunting him. He is paired with Aarzoo Gowatrikar in the show.

When contacted, Tarun did not have any haunting stories to narrate. Adds Tarun, "I hear stories from every second person about some freaky incident happening to them. Even while shooting, some of the co-stars can't don't return alone in the night. I find it funny because once I'm done with the shot, the scene and the story is out of my head. I just look forward to relaxing after hectic shoots."

So what scares him? "Animals" comes the instant reply. "Animals are something that scare me because you don't really have a control over them."

It seems Tarun is least of an animal lover and he makes no bones about it!! That's called being forthright Tarun

SRK lauds Shilpa's victory!

The entire nation is going gaga over Bollywood bombshell, Shilpa Shetty's triumph in the house of Big Brother. The media is busy taking bytes from her near and dear ones about their reaction on this good news. But does anyone know what her first ever co-star and the King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan (Baazigar) has to say.

Here is SRK's take: "Oh! She has…. that's really great. She was one of my first heroines and I am very happy for her. And now she is a world class celebrity. It must have taken her a lot of courage to participate in this show especially because one has heard about the wild things that can happen in the Big Brother's den. Also, what I admire about Shilpa is the fact that she has been very graceful about the racism issue which was raked. What I've heard is that the lady who made those remarks (Jade) has accepted her mistake."

When queried about the rising fever of reality television, SRK explicated, "Looks like people in India are also getting the taste of reality TV". And what does he have to say about Bigg Boss, "Since I am too busy with my shooting schedules, I could not watch the Indian version of the Big Brother."

Now when Shahrukh too has joined the bandwagon of reality game shows as the KBC host, we hope someday he too musters up the courage to participate in Big Brother! Can we ask for me?

Shubhavi's chilling out!!

Shubhavi has been enjoying herself to the hilt vacationing for the past one month. The pretty actor has been taking a well deserved break in Nasik, Goa, Alibaug, Lonavla and Pune with ten of her college friends.

" I've been partying, going for dinners and enjoying myself endlessly for a long time now. I am also working out and trying to look my age. I am twenty five but get roles double my age so I am definitely on the look out for better and younger roles," smiles Shubhavi who has a striking resemblance to Vidya Balan who also happens to be one of our old friends.

Shubhavi was last seen displaying her acting prowess in Kyunki… and Ishq Ki Ghanti.

So here's one versatile actor who knows her mind and work well!

Kyunki Joydeep will get a makeover!!

Actor Manav Vij, whose claim to fame is the nerdish act of Joydeep in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, has big things in store for him as far as his characterization goes.

Made to look like a Jassi counterpart, Joydeep's role started of on a humdrum note but later picked up when the track focused on his circumstantial marriage to Bhumi, who loves to hate him.

And now banking on this footage, Balaji head honcho is leaving no stone unturned to make her big ticket show, all the more spicier. First, it will be re-entry of Mandira from the gallons and later as our sources say, Joydeep gets a makeover ala Jassi! From an awkward ugly duckling he metamorphoses into a handsome man sans his spectacles.

Doctor turned actor, Joydeep will definitely make hay while the sun shines on him. But we all remember Jassi's fate post makeover…a drastic fall in TRPs. So will this strategy work in favour of Joydeep?

Rajeev Paul's branding lessons!

When we called up Rajeev Paul to find out what's happening in his life, we figured out that the actor is busy taking a few lessons in understanding brands these days. It came out that Rajeev is a regular visitor to Jai-Hind and HR Colleges these days.

Says the actor, "I am trying to get feedback from marketing students about building brands. I think being an actor is also about being a brand. Though, a lot of actors depend on their character's brand, I would like the actor in me to become the brand. For that to happen, the feedback of people who study brands makes a lot of sense."

Great Rajeev, we appreciate the efforts you are taking in building a brand as an actor and of course who can forget your recent `circuit act' in Nach Baliye 2. But, we just wonder how would you do justice to the feedback without much work in hand? Any takers?
