After
a resounding success of his first film Kabul
Express, Kabir Khan along with wife
Mini Mathur and the executive producer of
the film Rajan Kapoor is all set to venture
in television production under his banner
Camera-Art.
The show whose title has not been decided
so far is an original idea conceived by
the trio. Says Rajan Kapoor, one of the producer's
of the show, "It is a fact that we
are making this reality show which is slated
to debut on Sony television. I cannot talk
in detail about it as the concept is being
worked upon at the moment and many things
are yet to be finalized."
Adds Sandiip Sickand, Chief Creative Direc
tor Sony TV, "Yes, we are discussing
the project with Kabir and have to settle
certain things before going public about
it."
It seems Sony is working silently to surprise
everybody with its brand new programming
menu. The earlier news about Mona Singh
doing the show Khamoshi on Sony points
out to this silent yet aggressive programming
policy of the channel that has produced
some of the greatest television shows in
the past.
Kabir on his part says, "It's true
that I am starting television production
with Mini and Rajan and we have approached
Sony for it. But, the fact is that things
are being worked out and it is too early
to state the details at this moment."
Mini Mathur, well known anchor adds, "The
new project is expected to debut in a month's
time and it adds to the excitement that
the success of Kabul Express has
ushered in."
Riding high on the success of his film,
the director has chosen a right time to
conceive this idea. After all it is a well
known fact that nothing succeeds like success.
