Narendra who plays Raavan in the Zee TV show, which is an attempt at reviving the audience interest in the epic themes, will be seen in a film that would be released soon. The film titled Ek Dastak is a throbbing tale that takes a hard look on the income tax issues the nation is facing.

When we asked the actor about his role in the film which also stars the beautiful Vasundra Das, he said, "It is a fact that my film would be releasing in the coming days. I am playing one of the Income Tax officials in the film whose only ambition is to set the system right. I won't say that the film is completely a different story since we have witnessed such themes before, but what makes this film unique is its treatment because the director Sudhanshu Shekhar is Additional Income Tax Commissioner himself."

If you think this is all the actor is upto, don't get surprised to read that Narendra has also signed two Telugu films where he plays the bad guy. Talking about his role in Raavan, Narendra adds, "It is a character that has been demonized since ages. Our attempt is to show the real Raavana who too had a human side to him"

Juggling between television and films seems to be Narendra's favourite occupation these days. Let's hope the film turns out to be as good as it is claimed to be.
