Aren't we all wondering what is up with Shekhar Suman who used to be a common sight on our small screens? We for sure have something to share about the comedy king who used to move and shake us with his charming witticism.

The latest news is that Shekhar would soon be coming out with his own music album. Yes, if you don't believe this then here's more. Tentatively titled Simply Shekhar, the album will feature eight love ballets that are composed by Aadesh Srivastava.

This Wizard of wit says, "I thought about the music album since I don't want to stick to a particular thing only. Though comedy does come easily to me but this does not mean that I can't try different things. I will release my album by the end of February in association with HMV."

Shekhar Suman has branded his style of comedy which is a heady cocktail of ready bon mot and everyday observations. His shows like Movers and Shakers and Simply Shekhar are still remembered for the freshness they brought to the comedy on the small screen. Though in reality they were modeled and Adapted from The tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC. Lately the actor was part of the stand-up comedy show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge with Navoj Singh Sidhu which again was a roaring hit with the audiences.

When asked about his next television show the witty actor-host says, "I feel a need to shed the extra baggage of a wisecracker that I am carrying. So, I won't be doing any new such shows for sure. I will be commencing work on two film projects very soon. I am also planning to host serious television programmes that deal with social issues." It is also reported that the actor is producing a film titled Moonlight.

After ruling comedy programming for about a decade now, the actor is all set to test new ground for his next conquest. It would be interesting to know what the fate of his music video is going to be since the actor has always been a success at reinventing himself.
