Sumeet's in a chill out zone

Sumeet Raghavan, who was last seen in Resham Dankh and Akela has all the time for his family these days. The actor who made many a bones tickle with his effortless act in Sarabhai VS Sarabhai has so far not signed any new project. Reason being, he wants to pick the right roles which will have a long run on television. (Seems he's yet not got over the abrupt end of Resham Dankh).

"The status quo is that I have yet not taken up any new show, though there are offers coming my way. Right now, I am more concerned with the quality of roles and if it means bidding more time, then I'm game," enunciates Sumeet.

Good strategy but we hope that the wait just doesn't get prolonged as talent just can't be wasted!

Samir desires a career switch!!

Samir Soni is definitely out of sight but not quite out of our minds as we recently saw him in Rajshree's Vivah where he proved his acting prowess with enough ease. Ask the actor about what's keeping him busy these days and he on a lighter note replied that he's desperately looking out for work. And hold on, not just in the acting profession but he's game for writing as well.

"I am jobless and don't mind working as a journalist. And yes, I would like to write about the fishermen. (Er…r r did he mean the infamous Koli community of Mumbai) Right now, it's just my stage show which keeps me busy beyond that I am free," laughs Samir who was last seen in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and also refused a Balaji show in the recent past.

Here's hoping he gets work in his chosen field or else he would end up giving the journo brigade a run for their dear money.

Shubhaavi on a break!

Wondering where Shubhavi aka Meera of Kyunki …fame is? As per her last track she had been sent off to jail (somewhere is September) and since then they storyline has been concentrating on other characters.

But we tracked this volatile actor and found out that she has been busy with other things in life. "I am actually on a break - working towards knocking off some weight, chilling out friends and doing things which I couldn't do before," explicated Shubhavi. So when do we see you back in Kyunki? "My character may be revived as and when the story demands. I'm happy the way my career is going", she clarifies. Got your point!

So here's one more telly star who joins the community, 'in a break mode'; other members being Moulli Ganguly, Mansi Parekh, Mona Wasu….and many more!

Aditi's weighty issues

Aditi Shirwaikar currently seen in Zee's Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann has lost oodles of weight, so much so that people find it difficult to acknowledge her. Though the actor was aiming to shed a mere five kilos ended up weighing 15 kilos less! Reason being - excessive grueling at a western dance class!

"People can't recognize me after my weight loss. But now I am trying to get back to shape. More than my conscious decision to loose weight it was the dance classes which made me cut down to this frame," smiles Aditi who first came into the limelight with Starplus's Shararat and like a school girl at a recent do.

In this era where celebs have a tough time to cast away those extra kilos, here's one actor who will now be getting on a reverse cycle.
