Achint
Kaur's schedule is getting hectic by the
day. Currently seen in Karam Apnaa Apnaa,
not only is she making a comeback in Kyunki
as Mandira, she has also commenced shooting
for her new show Virrudh (produced
by Smriti Irani and Applause Entertainment).
Regarding the yet-to-be-telecast show on
Sony, Viruddh, she says with much
relish, "I play Vedika, an alcoholic
with a troubled past. But this time around
it's not a negative character like Mandira
in Kyunki, though you can't call
her normal at the same time. The roughness
of life has rubbed on her." Talking
about her first day of shoot the actor adds,
"It was my first day yesterday and
I drove everybody mad on the sets when I
put on my character Vedika. But it was great
fun!"
Speaking about her comeback in Kyunki
(Mandira her character in Kyunki
is back from the gallows), Achint comments,
"I can't say whether my character would
remain the same or undergo a positive change.
I have not got any creative brief on that.
My shoot for Kyunki might happen
in a week's time."
Achint who has earlier been part of shows
like Kahaani and Kitty Party
has quite a mixed bag of meaty roles in
her kitty this time. Her penchant for intense
histrionics has earned her a lot of accolades
and we hope to catch her with the same spirit
this time around too.
