Sethi's poor health condition!

Parmeet Sethi and his wife Archana Puransingh Sethi are jinxed. Both have not been keeping well post Jhalak Dikhla Ja since the past two months. Parmeet was bed ridden with Typhoid for well past three weeks while Archana recently hurt her hand and is in great pain with same.
"I took a break for two months and God put me on complete bed rest for a long time so thankfully my work didn't suffer. Now I am back on my toes and looking out for work" smiles Parmeet who is looking brighter than before.
But not many people know that about two months ago Parmeet's mother was also ill in Delhi so he had to frequent the city every now and then for the same.
Hope this year brings in healthier and happier days for the made for each other Sethi couple who are both on the lookout for quality work.

Will Cezzane break the myth?

The gossip market is already hot with talks about Balaji loyalist Cezanne Khan aka Anurag Basu opting out of Kasautii Zindagi Kay. And like many others who have taken this path, he too has been offered a plum project by Sandeep Sickand - a mega show on Sony opposite none other than Aamna Shariff.

It's also speculated that rival channel Zee has also been coaxing Cezzane, though he hasn't given his final nod to any. He's biding time till Mohram (auspicious reasons?).

Now that so many doors have opened for him, Cezzane has all the liberty be choosy! After all he's a big name thanks to this only show on TV.

So what will be the fate of Anurag Basu in Kasautii? Bumped off…..or plastic surgery and viola, a new face…… Going by the adulation the character enjoys, the former presumption can be discounted.

However, if one goes by the track record of all the Balaji walkouts, a majority have been devoid of the success they met at this production house. To cite examples are Rajeev Khandelwal (Time Bomb, Left Right Left), Anuj Saxena (Rishton Ki Dor), Nausheen Alii Sardar (Kaalchakara), Shweta Kawaatra, Shweta Keswani, Barkha Bisht.

Will Cezanne prove this statistics wrong???

Sumeet's in a chill out zone

Sumeet Raghavan, who was last seen in Resham Dankh and Akela has all the time for his family these days. The actor who made many a bones tickle with his effortless act in Sarabhai VS Sarabhai has so far not signed any new project. Reason being, he wants to pick the right roles which will have a long run on television. (Seems he's yet not got over the abrupt end of Resham Dankh).

"The status quo is that I have yet not taken up any new show, though there are offers coming my way. Right now, I am more concerned with the quality of roles and if it means bidding more time, then I'm game," enunciates Sumeet.

Good strategy but we hope that the wait just doesn't get prolonged as talent just can't be wasted!

Samir desires a career switch!!

Samir Soni is definitely out of sight but not quite out of our minds as we recently saw him in Rajshree's Vivah where he proved his acting prowess with enough ease. Ask the actor about what's keeping him busy these days and he on a lighter note replied that he's desperately looking out for work. And hold on, not just in the acting profession but he's game for writing as well.

"I am jobless and don't mind working as a journalist. And yes, I would like to write about the fishermen. (Er…r r did he mean the infamous Koli community of Mumbai) Right now, it's just my stage show which keeps me busy beyond that I am free," laughs Samir who was last seen in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi and also refused a Balaji show in the recent past.

Here's hoping he gets work in his chosen field or else he would end up giving the journo brigade a run for their dear money.
