It is time to announce the results of the recently concluded tellychakkar poll about the sexiest actor in tellydom. The contenders for the title were the four popular hunks: Eijaz Khan, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ram Kapoor and Iqbal Khan.

With around 17,000 votes in a span of a fortnight, the title was finally won by the flamboyant Rajeev Khandelwal who managed to bag 7626 votes. Close to him was the stylish Iqbal Khan, who recently announced his break-up with Balaji Telefilms. Owing to his recent popularity as Shiv in Karam Apna Apna, his vote count was 7500. Actually it looked like a tough contest between Mr. Khandelwal and Mr. Khan.

Commenting on the poll results an elated Rajeev said, "It is a matter of great pride for me to have won the title of the sexiest male actor. I would call it the greatest gift new year has offered me."

Rajeev Khandelwal's portrayal of captain Rajveer in SABs Left Right Left has been immensely liked by the audiences, especially by the younger lot. Though Rajeev has made sporadic appearances on television in the recent past, the fact that he is still the most popular actor is rings true with these poll results. We congratulate the actor on this achievement and wish him more luck in the time to come.

Second and third runners up are Eijaz Khan (934 votes) and Ram Kapoor (582 votes). We suggest that Eijaz should add more TRP happy shows to his kitty and Ram to shed those extra kilos to win this category!
