MAX
brings for its viewers a two week film festival
dedicated to the King of Disco dancing -
Mithun Chakraborty. Starting January 15
to 26, 2007 every Monday to Friday at 5
pm, watch the cream of Mithun's blockbusters
in a special festival titled, Lage Raho
Mithunda.

His dance tracks had the nation in a frenzy.
His dialogue delivery was considered a unique
signature. His fashion sense was aped by
millions of youth. With a background in
martial arts, Mithun Chakraborty is one
of the most popular actors on Indian celluloid.
His first movie was in Bengali, a Mrinal
Sen directed film - Mrigaya in 1976, for
which he won a National Film Award for Best
Actor. Ever since, there was no looking
back for Mithunda. Today, he has over 200
films to his credit and seems set for a
lot more.
Mithun is, undoubtedly, India's first dancing
sensation. This festival promises to delight
a large number of audiences who have grown
up dancing to the tunes from his films.
The festival features some of the biggest
dance hits ever in the history of Indian
cinema - Disco Dancer, Dance Dance,
Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki. It will also
showcase Mithun's outstanding performances
in movies like Boxer, Agneepath, Daata,
Pyar Ka Devta, Pyar Ka Mandir and Mujrim.

to Mithun Chakraborty, one of the most sensational

January, viewers will be treated to a delectable
