Reality shows are full of surprises and shocks. Well, it couldn’t get more shocking on Sony’s Comedy Circus with the elimination of Swapnil Joshi and his partner VIP (Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar) in the last episode.Their elimination does come as surprise to one and all, as this pair had rocked the show in the preceding episodes.

However, actor Swapnil Joshi isn’t dejected at all. “We did well in all previous episodes but this turned to be our bad day. Maybe the theme worked against us. I’m not at all disappointed but the only thing that irks me is that we weren’t the lowest scorers and yet we got voted out by other contestants. However, we may not have won the contest but we certainly have won many hearts.” said Swapnil.

Apparently the other jodis wanted to get rid of the biggest threat and that’s precisely what made them opt for Kashif Khan-Ali Asgar than Swapnil and VIP. The former pair will consider them lucky as they’ve been able to survive the danger zone for the third consecutive time. The result not only shocked the judges but it left pretty hostess Shruti Seth in tears.

While Swapnil may have taken the decision in his stride his partner is pretty candid when he says, “We were performing well consistently, and so, they deliberately ousted us. It was really disappointing; in fact I even shed few tears.”

Unlike other ousted jodis, Swapnil and VIP haven’t blamed anyone nor each other for their ouster. “In Swapnil, I found the best partner. I call him Krishna and myself Sudhama” quips VIP. Swapnil too echoes the same sentiment when he says “without him (VIP), I wouldn’t have reached thus far in the show.”

They may be voted out but all is not lost for this pair as they should make their way back in through a wild card. Apparently, Swapnil and VIP have already begun practicing. Well, we can just hope that Krishna and Sudhama make their presence on CC soon.
