He's
been on the small screen since the days
of Sea Hawk and Saaya but it's with his
impeccable performance as Suyash Mehra in
Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii that has catapulted
the actor to great heights.
Juggling two big prime shows, (the above
mentioned and Sony's Viruddh) could
have left Anoop jaded, had he not resorted
to yoga. To know more about his health regime,
Rachana Trivedi
sets off on a mission.
Fitness mantra:
Live happy and work hard towards achieving
your goal.
Exercise ritual:
I have been practicing yoga since a month.
The reason for switching to it was that
I was bored of my daily gym regime. Initially
the yoga trainer used to visit my place,
but now I am all by myself. Normally I do
yoga for an hour early morning. I have started
with pranayam and suryanamaskar. Even when
I am working, I try to catch up with some
form of exercise to stay active the whole
day.
My diet:
I am not a foodie. My meal comprises of
simple food. For breakfast it's eggs, lunch
is the basic dal, rice, roti and lots of
green veggies.
Even dinner is
light - soup and grilled fish
or chicken. I had been following this routine
since a year and I am happy with it. I do
eat out once in a week as both my wife and
I attend parties. If not a social, then
it's just an outing at a restaurant. My
favourite eateries are Mainland China, China
Land and J.W. Marriott. But my preference
is ghar ka khana.
