Appearing
in a video album seems to be the in-thing
for actors as a stop-gap arrangement between
one serial going off air and signing another
one. For that's what a few actors who are
not currently in the tv circuit been busy
with instead of waiting endlessly for a
production house to approach them.
Amit Verma aka Rohan of the defunct Kittu
Sab Jaanti Hai is busy in Goa shooting
for a music video. Splashing in the sand
and sea, he is having a rollicking time
featuring in this romantic video with Purva,
a model. On doing a music video, Amit says,
"I have done a music video earlier
for a Kishore Kumar song Haan Pehli Baar.
I am having fun shooting in the beaches
of Goa and there are a lot of nightclubs
picturisations too." About acting in
serials, he informs, "I did an episodic
of Aahat, again with Ami Trivedi.
There are a lot of offers after Kittu…
I'll come back and sign."

Vinod Singh, still referred to as Aayushman,
who disappeared from the small screen except
for Yeh Meri Life Hai and a few episodics,
has been modeling for tv commercials. Presently,
he too has taken to music album for which
he has shot with Miss Malayasia, Leena Saddu.
The location happens to be Cochin, in the
romantic backwaters of Kerala. "I am
awaiting the launch on June 16th. It's a
very romantic song and the singer is Sanjay
Gahlot." He has also shot for a cola
ad for Pakistan.

Another actor is a professional singer
himself who features in his music albums.
None other than Vikas Bhalla, Arjun of Shanno
Ki Shaadi. He spends a lot of time in
riyaaz and is passionate about singing.
He has a music room in his house where he
practices and comes out with songs for his
music albums. He was spotted in Jassi…
in a negative role but is not interested
in doing episodics. He says, he will wait
till a good role like Shanno… comes by.
but of now, the actor reveals, "I am
working on an album. Along with my wife
Puneeta, I have started a preschool and
my son Veer is the first student. It is
very interesting."
