Before the skin peel: The red circle highlights the scar on Manoj's forehead

Actor Manoj Bidvvai was recently spotted at many parties but always with a scarf / bandana tied around his forehead. As curiosity got the better of us, we found out the mystery behind it by asking the actor himself.

It seems around 15 years back, as a young boy, Manoj had a fall resulting in a scar on his forehead. Now that he is an actor doing television and films, he probably felt it was the right time to get rid of it. And why not, when cosmetic beauticians are all over the place, Manoj decided to have a chemical peeling done where the damaged skin is gradually peeled off in a few sittings and new skin takes over. As he was in the midst of this treatment, he had his forehead covered for protection.

After doing serials like CID, Rihaee and a short stint in a Balaji serial, he is now into films. "Currently I am busy shooting for a movie Rivaaz where I play the lead with Meghna Naidu opposite me. It based on real life instances in a remote village," says Manoj. He is open to TV as well as Bollywood and keeps his fingers crossed for a bright future!
