The latest from the Balaji Brigade to call it quits is Tina Parakh. Rumour mills have been rolling out the news of her frustration for a while now! Apparently the actress essaying a prime character Shruti (Parvati's daughter) in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and Mukti (Prem's love interest) Kasautii Zindagi Kay is said to be irked with Balaji.

It comes as a déjà vu as the actress was wary about her role and generation leap since best friend Manoj Bohra put his foot down. However we did heard of a concrete decision taken over the issue. Now the news is that she is miffed as her work life is affecting her personal life. The actress doesn't get enough time for recreation and apparently hasn't been able to spend quality time with friends and family. Being a part for the daily soap brigade, there is no bank of episodes, the daily pressure is too much to combat with especially as she recently got married.

Quoting a source, "She is considering quitting the show as she isn't getting enough time for her personal life. She cribs about the fact that she spends all day here and is too tired to do anything at the end of it. Apart from that she hasn't really enjoyed her martial bliss. I don't think her family is taking it too well either."

Hope Tina doesn't go the Tulsi way and sort out the matter with Balaji.

It's been a month now that this hardcore Punjabi munda of Teen Bahuraniya and Betiyaan Apni Ya Paraya Dhaan went vegetarian. And it's all because of a Rudraksha! Manish voices, "The change was brought out by the Rudraksha that I am wearing. My family was going through a tough phase health-wise this year and my mom asked me to wear it. As I am not too much into religious rituals, I was unaware that one must quite eating meat after wearing the Rudraksha. In fact, four days later my co-star warned me about it and since then I have given up eating meat."

So how does he avoid eating all the delicious spicy chicken curry served on the sets? He winces, "Well it has been a little difficult but I have tremendous self control. I relish the Masala milk and the fruit juices that are available in the studio canteen!

The whole of telly town knows by know that Narayani Shastri threw a birthday bash recently at a suburban eatery. But what's still incognizant is an inside dope that the venue was provided FOC (free of cost) to the actor as the restaurant derived publicity out of the same. And if buzz is to be digested this is the same joint where Ms. Shastri has thrown parties in the past too.

In fact Narayani is these days regularly spotted at movie premiers and socials with her on-and-off swain Gaurav Chopra. Seems in this sultry summer painting the town red is this lady's cooling mantra.

We hope a hot project soon lands in her laps which will not only rejuvenate her sagging career but will also give her a good reason to make it to the scribes .

Remember the Apurva Agnihotri-Surveen Chawla fiasco sometime back, with wife Shilpa keeping tabs on hubby dearest to the extent that Surveen gave interviews on how she felt awkward on the Kaajal sets....Yash Tonk and his heroine of Karam Apna Apna Pallavi Subhash appear to be going the same way.

Like we said, after Vikas Bhalla, the hot and humid air wave brings news that Yash and Pallavi are very fond of one another, spend a lot of time in each other's company and the chemistry between them is scorching. Before things go out of hand, we hope Gauri Tonk takes rein of things and ties the muscle-flexing husband to her pallu a la Shilpa Saklani. Then we can have a happy ending to the story.

Recently Ekta Kapoor announced on a media platform that post Smriti's decision to quit Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabi Bahu Thi, there are three veteran actresses namely Padmini Kolhapure, Gautami Gadgil, Poonam Dhillon that she has approached to essay the legendry Tulsi Virani.

Industry is abuzz with rumours that Poonam Dhillon might replace Smriti Irani in the pivotal role of Tulsi in Balaji's flagship show "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi".

However when we contacted Poonam to confirm the news and whether she has signed the dotted line, she replied in a state of shock, "I have had no conversation and there is no truth in it. May be you should ask Ekta (Kapoor)as she gave a quote on the subject".

Poonam was last seen in Shobha De's Kitty Party on TV and made a huge and is now coming up with a sequel to her play a perfect husband which is titled "Perfect Wife".

Our sources claim that though the cold war is on bull blast between Ekta and Smriti, the talks of not letting Kyunki suffer are still on… big money is being negotiated and Ekta's best back up are the ladies she has been talking to. In our opinion none of them are a perfect fit for Tulsi's character as each lacks some vital ingredient of the character. Poonam in our opinion is too sweet to stand up to the strength that Tulsi holds around her, Gautami Gadgil can not match the screen presence and the might of the character etc… for now we know that only two ladies are in the pipeline as Poonam denies being interested in Kyunki.
