The yet-to-be-launched GEC NDTV Imagine has roped in musician Shankar Mahadevan and creative whiz, lyricist Prasosn Joshi as judges for their musical extravaganza Dhoom Mach De.

The jury members along with the votes of the entire nation will adjudge the winner in the ultimate competition to uncover the country's "Best LIVE Performer".

Speaking on his new role Shankar Mahadevan said, "I'm really excited about being associated with a show that has got such talented performers competing with each other on a common platform. This is a show to judge the participant's overall 'live' performance. Its a tough task for us as judges, but you can be rest assured that this show will have a lot of action and energetic performances from the country's popular artists."

Prasoon Joshi further added, "Dhoom Macha De is a unique concept. Never before have talented and established singers participated in a musical reality show. As a judge, I will be looking for the 'wow' factor, something that appeals to the heart and mind. All I can say right now is for you to watch out for this show. It's going to have some unforgettable moments."

Dhoom Macha De will hit TV screens early next year. For the first time ever on television, eleven of India's most popular and established singers like Anaida, Baba Sehgal, Babul Supriyo, Devang Patel, Jaspinder Nirula, Jassi, Kamaal Khan, Richa Sharma, Sapna Awasthi, Suneeta Rao and Taz will come together in one show to compete at what they do best-LIVE performance!
