A colourful bouquet; SAB TV 's
new line-up


Comedy, romance, horror, tragedy, suspense and thriller. For those who like to feast daily on variable entertainment delicacies, SAB TV is here to satiate your appetite. Or so they claim.

This youth centric GEC is set to refresh its 8.30 pm time band with a slew of new shows. In fact, they've scored a boundary. Come December 3, four new weeklies covering all genres will hit your TV screens. They are Detective Doll, Sirf Stories, Full Masti 88.2 and Gupshup Coffee Shop.


Speaking on this development SAB TV Business Head Anooj Kapoor said, "SAB TV has always been a youth orientated channel. In our recent surveys, we realised that the youth prefer something new on a daily basis. After a certain point, their interest in dailies tend to decline. Thus we decided to give them a new show every day. These are not just new shows but they cover all genres."


Detective Doll is a tale of Ayesha Thapar, fondly called Doll, a typical college going girl. Behind her baby doll looks lies an inquisitive girl who has a fetish for detecting. She's taken this up as her part time assignment. Her world revolves around her pet dog, Pink Panther, her best friend Anuja, her two other college friends Inky and Dinky and a rival Green gang in her college. While her mischief in college serves as a breather, Ayesha tries uncorking murder, kidnap, theft and such cases.

Sumona is the main protagonist while the other star cast comprises of new actors. This show is slated for Monday.


 

Sirf Stories: To be aired on Tuesday, Sirf Stories brings a new tale every week. It covers all genres. The principal cast includes Daljit Kaur and Gaurav Dikshit.

 

 

 

Full Masti 88: Here is tale that every ambitious youth can associate with. Six bold college friends decide to open a Radio Station with absolutely no knowledge on how to run it. This show highlights the struggle of these youngsters. This series presents the whacky life at radio stations with its quirky characters and traces the lives of radio listeners.

The cast comprise of Sumit, Soni, Amit Mistry, Aakansha Kapil, Rupali Ahuja, Roslyn, Suresh Chatwal. It's lined up for Wednesday.

 

 

Gupshup Coffee Shop: Mahendra Dhariwal (Sudhir Pandey), once a trillionaire now reduced to a crorepati by the spendthrift Dhariwal ladies, challenges his ladies that they can't even earn a single penny. So, Parmilla Dhariwal (Navneet Nishan), her daughter-in-law (Eva Grover) and grand daughter (Shalini) open up a coffee shop called 'Gupshup Coffee Shop'. The plot then revolves on how the ladies balance their personal and professional life. Gupshup… will be aired on Thursday.
