After Zee's Sindoor was hastily pulled off air, Gunjan Walia went missing from the scene for sometime. She resurfaced in Sahara's Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye and now the pretty actress is now enjoying her stint as Meerabai in Saat Phere.

"I'm portraying the role of a poor village girl Vrinda, who's very honest and innocent. She's blamed by the villagers for her brother's wrong deeds. Vrinda is very fond of Nahar so much so that it reminds us of Lord Krishna's Meerabai. Vrinda will bring certain twists and turns in the tale, which will take the track forward," quips Gunjan.

Abdul Karim, Assosiate producer of the show says, "Gunjan is a known face and is a perfect combination of beauty with brains. We're introducing her character for a few episodes."

Meanwhile, the current track focuses on Vrinda (Gunjan), Nahar (Sharad Kelkar) and Saloni (Rajshree). This week Nahar will bring Vrinda home and introduce her to all family members.
