Bharti Patil of Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family, more famously known as Pushpa in the show is multi talented in real life. A dutiful wife and mother in real life as well Bharti is a fabulous actress from the Marathi screen and theatre. Not many are aware that the lady has great academic as well as professional achievements.

In an informal chat to tellychakkar Bharti Patil talks about her life and her first show in Hindi, Jasuben Jayantlal…

"I've done many serials and films in Marathi but JJJKJF is my first show in Hindi," avers Bharti.

Bharti is a mechanical engineer by profession and acting is a hobby. She has also done her B.A in Psychology. She explains that, "One of my friends suggested that I try my hand in TV serials and I gave an audition. I was selected and after that there was no looking back."

In addition to her educational qualifications the actress also runs a business of her own. "I have my own garment business in Mumbai and Pune," she states.

Bharti has learnt Bharatnatyam for 20 years and done films in the south as well. "After becoming visible in Marathi movies I started getting offers from the South. I have done four films in Kannada and even won an award for it," she says.

Talking about her character in Jasuben, the actress laughs, "There is a lot of similarity between Bharti and Pushpa. Pushpa loves everyone and same is the case with me. Pushpa is untidy and to small extent I'm also the same. Pushpa never feels bad when her elders taunt her like badi sasuma (elder mother-in-law) in the show and it's the same with me."
