With elections coming soon it will be de rigueur to see more and more stars either contesting or campaigning for their friends. Will the coming season see any of our small screen stars getting into the election fray? Tellychakkar asks some TV celebs to vote for their choice of a suitable contestant.

Which TV star according to you will make a successful politician?
And why?

Priya Arya I think Ashwini Kalsekar can become a good politician as she has the brains and is a powerful personality.

Manav Gohil I think it could be Smriti Irani as she is a great orator and knows to play this game well.

Megha Gupta I think Satish Shah could be a great politician as he can entertain the janta as well as help them with their problems. He is a great speaker and would be able to find his way in the maze of politics.

Romit Raj Smriti Irani as she is the only candidate to move from TV to politics. She has moved to the right arena and is doing quite well in the field. She travels widely and thus has a deep knowledge of what’s happening in the country.

Karan Wahi I think I can become a good politician as I’m most of the time politically correct.

Rucha Gujarati I feel its Smriti Irani as she is an intelligent woman and has got civic sense. Besides she can understand the common man’s problems very well.

Ashwini Kalsekar I think Rakhi Sawant as she speaks her mind out. Besides that she has the guts and does things not only for herself but for others also. I don’t know whether I am being politically correct but she does have the qualities of a politician.
