Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar, who
are vying for the best stand-up artist title in Sony’s Ustaadon Ka Ustaad,
are upset with the critical comments of judges Saroj Khan and Javed Akhtar. Kapil
and Chandan, who finished first and second in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge
3 respectively, were constantly subject to extreme criticism and low points
from Javed and Saroj. Chandan

A miffed Chandan says, “The great Umer
Sharif rated us highly but Javed and Saroj, who have absolutely nothing to do
with stand-up comedy, give us meager marks. They pointed that we needed to come
up with more fresh content. But can someone tell me what new content did Shakeel
and Urvashi produce that they deserved to win the contest?” Adding
further Chandan says, “In the first episode, Javed lauded Urvashi and Shakeel
saying that there was freshness in their content. But haven’t we seen such miya-biwi
acts in numerous Pakistani plays before? I wonder what new they saw this time.” Kapil

Kapil Sharma had this to say “From the
look of things, it appeared that there was favouritism towards contestants of
Comedy Circus. What baffled me the most was that despite having enjoyed
my jokes, the judges still gave me less marks.” The third judge
Shekhar Suman, who adjudged both TGILC 1,2 and 3, too was left helpless
as he had to go with the majority. “Shekharji too appeared a little upset
but there was nothing he could do. He too rated our performance as average,” chides
Chandan. As is the current trend which has reality shows making
more news after they are over Ustaadon Ka Ustaad is no different
