food the elixir of life?Yes, it’s very essential. Are
you a foodie? A proud one Are
you a veg or non-veg? I’m a veggie who’s just switched
to non-veg by eating fried fish. Favourite
cuisine: Chinese Favourite
dish: Steamed rice with veg curry from Mainland China
Favourite
restaurant: Mainland China A
must at my breakfast table… A glass of milk
Sugar or sugar free for my tea/coffee:
½ tbs of sugar free or brown sugar Lunch
generally consists of… 2 chapatis, dal, any veg
sabzi, chaas or curd. For
high tea I have… Usually, I exercise in the evening
so after the workout I need to eat well. So, I have an early dinner.
Dinner generally consists of…Dal,
chapatis or if I’m not too hungry then just a glass of milk.
Dessert delights…
Baskin Robbin Ice-creams. I’ll be feasting on mangoes this summer.
One thing I can’t resist..

I’m non-alcholic. For a
date I usually prefer… a coffee or Chinese or Italian.
At parties, I usually
eat… I don’t party at all. Experiment
with food? I experiment with my Maggie noodles. Along
with the seasoning, I add vegetables, coriander power and turmeric.
Most unusual dish I’ve tasted… A
veg pizza with very thin bread in Bangkok. It fell apart the moment, I picked
up the first slice. On
the streets, I love to have.. paani puri and
a hot vada pav. I never got to see vada pav in Lucknow.
One place I would never eat again…All
Udipi restaurants. Do you
cook? Yes, I’m not bad. A
recipe that you can share with us.. Rajma
Soak the dal in water overnight Pressure cook
it Add chopped tomatoes, ginger, garlic
Add red chilli power Add garam masala
Salt as per taste Pressure cook again but only for
few minutes and its ready to serve.
