Se is passé. But it is a lesser known fact that Ekta also
had Mouli
Ganguli in mind for the same role. But
Mouli of Shaina of Kahin Kisi Roz fame didn’t accept it owing to her film
career. The actress is awaiting the release of her film It’s a man’s world
and so she didn’t take up the offer. The actress was required to start shooting
immediately. When
contacted, Mouli confirms the news and says, “I did get a call from Balaji. More
than being one of the popular shows, it could have given me an opportunity to
work with Balaji all over again. But I couldn’t take it up as I am bound under
a contract which impedes me from working on television till the film is released.
It is slated to release in June”.
