Babul Supriyo is the latest singer to get eliminated from NDTV Imagine’s Dhoom Macha De. Now the show is left with three singers namely Jaspinder Narula, Richa Sharma and Devang Patel.

The singer who received accolades from the judges left everyone present on the sets shocked when his eviction was announced. Babul sang Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le and received praises from Shankar Mahadevan who said, “Babul you have given the song your 100%. We just loved your rendition.”

Babul was accompanied by Jaspinder Narula to the danger zone and the judges took two hours to come up with the tough decision of eliminating the male singer. Sharmila Tagore, one of the three judges, was also very upset while announcing Babul’s eviction.

Babul, who is very happy with his experience on the reality show, says, “I am very happy being a part of the show as I believe that I have met with the judges’ expectations. Which other platform will give me a chance to render my favourite songs? I am flooded with SMS and calls saying that they are shocked to hear about my eviction. That itself is a compliment to me.”

Babul is rooting for Richa Sharma. He says, “May the best song on that particular day wins but still I personally want Richa Sharma to win as she is a very talented and versatile singer.”

The finale between Jaspinder Narula, Richa Sharma and only male singer Devang Patel will be aired in the first week of May.

The episode with Babul’s eviction will be on air on 24th April.
