Kiran Karmarkar who came back as Om in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii after taking a break from the show is reportedly going to play the epic character of Shantanu in Ekta Kapoor’s Mahabharat. It is also reported that the shoot of the epic which was supposed to start yesterday was halted for some reasons but is expected to start from tomorrow.

Kiran said, “I will not comment on it. You must ask Balaji about this.” Ekta did not reply to our text to confirm or negate the news.

Taking you to the epic, Shantanu is the father of Bhishma Pitamah. As it has been reported so far that Ronit Roy will play Bhishma Pitamah, one would get to see Kiran playing father to Ronit.
