Romit Raj aka Yuvraj of Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan is entering Bidaai. The actor will play himself in the show. Few know that it was Rajan Shahi, the then director of Betiyaan, who got Romit the role of Yuvraj Garodia in the show. Romit who is playing a well-known TV star on the show has come to attend the wedding reception of Sadhana and Alekh.

Talking about his role and character, Romit says, “I am going to play myself on the show. It is best moment of my life. This is a big compliment for me as the producer has zeroed down on me to play the character.”

“Rajan is my most favourite director. He is the one who got me into Betiyaan, he was very keen on me doing the role. He has shot my introduction scene as Yuvraj. I don’t think I can ever pay him the dues but I am there for him whenever he wants me,” adds the actor.

Though Romit will be seen in just one episode but one never knows if he becomes a regular face on the show later, as dadi played by Amardeep Jha, will try and match make grand-daughter Ragini (Parul Chauhan) with Romit.

The episode will be aired on the 5th of May.
