Mihika Verma who was last seen in Mere Apne is grinning from ear to ear these days. The actress has bagged an important role in Balaji’s and Star Plus Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. This is an offer from a production house that many stars would give their right arm for. So it is evident why Mihika is flying high. Moreover the role too has a good graph as it goes from positive to negative and Mihika gets a chance to display her histrionic talent.

“I’m very excited to work with such a big production house. It’s going to be a nice experience and I am really looking forward to it,” says Mihika

Detailing about her character in the show she explains, “I essay the role of Ashlesha known as Ash in the show. She is a sweet looking dumb character and daughter of Daljeet Chachi (played by Tasneem Shaikh). In one word she is Pooh (of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham) from Ludhiana. My mother wants me to marry Prem (Harshad Chopra) but nothing happens. My mom thinks that her daughter is pretty but not chalak.”

Your character eventually turns negative? “Yes, and this will be the first time that I am playing a full fledged negative role. There will be a big twist in the show. Currently Tasneem is the vamp in the show and later on her daughter (that’s me) will take her place,” she avers.

There are always controversies surrounding Balaji actors. Doesn’t that worry you? “I’m not here to be a controversy baby. Till the time I keep my mouth shut and behave with dignity there shouldn’t be any problem. I’ll just do my work so there is no need to worry,” she explains.

What else is there in your kitty? “Well this show will take a lot of time. I will shoot for 20 to 25 days so there is very little time left in my hand. For now I just want to concentrate on one show,” she concludes.
