After a weeks’s competition, the much awaited result of Sony’s Mr and Miss TV is out. Swapnil Joshi and Purbi Joshi are Mr and Miss TV. After their trial by fire the multi- talented actors were crowned the very coveted title.

“It’s been a great journey in the show. I feel gratitude for the people who supported me in this show,” says Purbi.

“People from all over the country are astonished to see me in the new avatar. I received calls from America and Australia praising my performances and it really feels good. It was satisfying for me as a performer,” she adds further.

Swapnil too is on Cloud 9. “I’m extremely happy and humbled. I think by winning the title of Mr. TV I have repaid the love which I received from the audience,” he says.

Was Karan a tough competitor? “He definitely was. His partner Jasveer was really good. My initial episodes were not as good as my partner Priyanka was not able to persuade the judges. This had an impact on my marks in the show,” he says.

Do you think winning this title will give you a career boost? “I don’t know that but this will help me positively. This show gave me a chance to portray my other side to the audience. Besides that it has also boost my confidence,” informs Swapnil.

Purbi continues, “It’s surely going to help me professionally and personally. I’m happy that I was part of the show.”

As the supremely talented duo wear the crown all one can say is that they surely deserved it.
