Tanushree Kaushal who plays the role of Menaka Garodia in Zee’s Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan had a heated argument with Sangmitra, executive producer of the show over a very trivial issue.

Reportedly the actress was asked to remove her cosmetic lenses which she flatly refused to. Tanushree says, “It was not an argument but was just a creative difference. Sangmitra has just joined us and it’s been only two months that she has taken over so she was not aware of my look. I have been wearing the lenses from the beginning and as it was part of my look I would not remove them. It seems that she spotted some difference in my eye-colour due to change in lighting on the sets. But everything was sorted out the same day.”

A source says, “Sangmitra asked Tanushree to remove her lenses which she refused to do. Tanushree shouted at her and flatly refused to take orders. She actually couldn’t take someone as new as Sangmitra ordering her to do something against her wish.”

Despite repeated attempts Sangmitra remained unavailable for clarification.
