Manava Naik’s departure from Zee TV’s Teen Bahuraaniyan has opened the door for three actors. Stepping into the show are actors Shubhavi, Roopa Divetia and Soni Singh.

Manjeet’s (Manava Naik) death left the show with only two Bahuraaniyans, which very much goes against the show’s title, thus a third bahu had to come in. However, there isn’t going to be an overnight marriage for the widower Mahesh.

Kunjbala (Shubhavi) comes into the Gheewala family keen on getting her niece Kajal married (Soni Singh) married to Mahesh. She lives with her sister-in-law, Meenaben (Roopa) and Kajal. Kunjbala is not married and has a colourful, multifaceted personality to make the audience keep guessing what she is really about.

Meenaben (Roopa) is a simple and serene lady. She is a widow and has the responsibility of her daughters. Her sister- in- law lives with her to lend a hand. It is evident that Meenaben and Kunjbala are very close.

Kajal is very pretty and comes across as a mature, loving and sensible girl. The Gheewala family is ecstatic to have Kajal as the prospective Bahu of the Gheewala family.
