After Star Plus and Zee coming up with new shows, Sony does not wish to remain far behind. Sony and Creative Eye are ready with a new saga called Waqt Batayega Kaun Apna Kaun Paraya.

The star cast includes Nishigandha, Payal Sarkar and Kishore Shahane. It’s the story of an adopted girl child who is searching for love from her step- mother and other family members. The show also marks the comeback of Mukesh Khanna who plays Payal’s father.

Payal says, “I’m playing the lead role in the show. It’s a beautiful concept and I’m happy with my character.” She was last seen in Anurag Basu’s Love Story where she essayed the role of Shruti.

Detailing her character she continues, “I play the role of Rudra who is an adopted child in the family and is aware about this. She is very close to her dad but not other family members. Rudra is aware of her limitations and keeping that in mind she takes care of her family members. She doesn’t take it to heart when family members yell at her or curse her.”

Nishigandha plays the role of her real mother in the show. She enters the house of Rudra as a nanny and wants her daughter to love her. But this daughter is in search of love from her foster mother.

With Sony’s dismal track record with current serials Waqt he batayega…whether this serial will alter things for the channel.
