After winning Mr and Miss TV title Swapnil Joshi is all geared up for reality shows. The actor cum anchor is all set to anchor a reality show on Sahara Samay titled Arrange marriage. Beside that he has two more such ventures in the pipeline.

“Yes, I’m doing three reality shows but can’t reveal much. Currently I’m looking at Arrange Marriage,” says Swapnil.

Despite repeated attempts Swapnil refused to reveal anything but said that, “Arrange Marriage is a never seen before reality show on Indian television. In one of the shows I’ll participate and in another I will be the host. These shows are still in the planning stage.”

Why are you focusing only reality shows? “To be frank reality is the current trend of the industry. It has become a popular form of entertainment today and by looking at the TRPs of such shows, we can say for sure that audiences are not yet tired of them,” avers the actor.

So will there be no fiction shows for you? “Well at this point definitely no but I would like to do a hardcore fiction something like a Balaji show. I feel Ekta makes great shows as she understands the audience very well,” he says.

Like all your contemporaries is Bollywood not on your mind? “I’m dying to do a film but on my own terms and conditions like a meaty role, character roles will also do for me. I want to do good cinema,” he concludes.

Smart Swapnil has his back-up plans all stitched up. So being out of work atleast in the near future is not a possibility
