If sources are to be believed then Creative Eye’s Veeranwali and Edit 2’s Neelanjana on 9X are tipped to go off-air soon.

A source from the production house, Creative Eye, says, “Veeranwali will end in the beginning of the next month.”

“The last day of the shoot is 30th August and the show will go off latest by 15th of September,” adds another source from the show.

Dheeraj Kumar, Producer Creative Eye, however said, “Well, the news is not true so far. The channel is planning to rework and revamp its afternoon time band so Veeranwali may get shifted to an evening or late night slot.”

Talking about Neelanjana, a source from the production house says, “The show is slated to go off-air in another two months.”

Benaifer Kohli, producer Edit 2 said, “Nothing is decided as yet. The decision yet remains to be taken and only after that it would be decided if the show will get shifted to the evening slot. Till October we are not expecting any changes and if anything has to happen it would take place only after October. As far as the channel’s plans go we will know only in the second week of September.”

When contacted Indrani Mukerjea, CEO and Founder INX Media says, “The afternoon shows are very much on now till the story ends which is surely not next month.”
