The cast of the numero uno show Bidaai has become very popular not within the common public but they also have admirers in Bollywood. Kinshuk Mahajan aka Ranbir Rajvansh who plays the love interest of Parul Chahan aka Ragini in the show has all the reasons to be happy. The chocolate-faced boy has an admirer in none other than Asha Bhonsle.

The legendary singer has roped in her favourite TV actor for her upcoming album slated to be released on her birthday. Kinshuk will be seen in a romantic video with Dimple Jhangiani and Asha Bhonsle will try to ignite love between them.

A source from the production house says, “Asha Bhonsle had personally called up producer Rajan Shahi and requested him to let Kinshuk be part of her music video. It was Rajan’s pleasure to fulfill Ashaji’s request. She also complimented Rajan on the show and admitted that she is hooked to the show and watches it religiously. She likes Kinshuk for his child-like look. Kinshuk too is elated with the offer and feels honoured.”

An upbeat Kinshuk says, “I was so touched with Ashaji’s gesture. She was so humble and nice to me. At first when I received a call from her production house saying that Asha Bhonsle wants me in her video I was taken aback and didn’t take it seriously. I thought of it as a joke and said that my show is keeping me busy 24x7. But then Ashaji herself called up Rajan sir with the request. The video will be released on 8 September which also marks her 75th birthday. My family is so proud of me and it feels like any big award.”

Talking about the video, the actor says, “We are on a road travel and love blossoms between me and Dimple and Ashaji tries to get us together.”

With a fan in Asha, Kinshuk is now humming a happy tune.
