Define fashion?
It depends on my mood. It is about what I feel like wearing and what suits me irrespective of the trend. I have no idea about the trends. I never follow trends. I believe in making my own style statement.

Who chooses your clothes?
It is usually me who chooses my clothes. At times, my sister Gauhar too does the needful. She understands my style, so I often ask her to suggest me what I should pick. We often shop together.

Do you like to accessorise yourself?
I do not like wearing much of accessories. I prefer to keep it basic with a nice pair of ear rings, shoes and a good watch is a must . I don’t like to go overboard. My style is sophisticated and elegant.

Is there any particular brand that you prefer for clothes
I am not a brand person. I like to design my own clothes. The only brand that I am fond of is MANGO. Jeans from MANGO works best for me.

What is your favourite destination for shopping?
I usually shop from abroad and Dubai is my favourite destination for shopping. I visit Dubai at least once in six months. I stock all my clothes, shoes, etc when I go there.

Which are the clothes that make you feel comfortable?
Jeans and a t-shirt is what make me feel comfortable. I like the way tube tops fit me. They look good on me, so I like wearing tube top with jeans.

Who is your favourite designer?
As I said, I like to have my own designs.

A must have in your purse?
It is a long list. A lip balm, sanitizer, perfume, lotion and my wallet are a must for me. My bag is always loaded.

What are the make-up products that you prefer?
MAC is fantastic. Every product of it is good. My second choice for make-up is Bharat and Dorris.

Don’t simply follow fashion trends. Wear what suits you and make your own fashion statement.
