Recently many actors of the small screen are gung-ho about playing negative roles. After Ritu Choudhary, Mehul Kajaria it is Amit who has agreed to play a villain for the first time. After his exit from Doli Saja Ke, Amit Sareen has signed a new show where he will be playing an out and out negative character in Zee TV’s Parivar. Amit is very excited about the role and is keenly awaiting the shoot.

“It’s exciting to play a negative role for the first time. It’s a small cameo role for 15 days and I’m eagerly looking forward for it,” says Amit Sareen.

When asked about the character he said, “My character is very similar to that of Shah Rukh Khan’s in Baazigar. I will enter the Shirodkar family to destroy them. If you want to know more watch out for the show,” he explains.

What was the reason for taking up a negative role? “You need guts to take up such a role. The creative team was much more excited than me and requested me to play the role. I was not sure but they were confident. It was a matter of few days only so I thought of giving it a try,” he adds.

So when can we see you in a full- fledged role as hero or villain? “Hence forth I don’t think I’ll do any negative stints. Parivar is for a short period so I agreed,” he concludes.

Well let’s wait and watch whether Parivar does for Amit what Baazigar did for SRK.
