After Rohit Roy, it's the
turn of telly actor Vikram
Acharya to walk the film producer's path. Vikram,
who is currently seen on Sahara One’s Woh
Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, is all set to produce a Bollywood flick.
The actor was also seen on Bindass with a show called Shakira,
but it soon went off air. “The screenplay of my film is ready and
now we are looking for a writer to jot down the story and help us with the dialogue,”
says Vikram. When queried about his production company, Vikram offers,
“Earlier I was associated with Arif Creation but now I have my own production
house. I haven’t registered the name but the process is on. Within two months
it will be complete but first I’ve to become a member of the writers association.”
And what of the storyline for the film? “It’s definitely going
to be a comedy targeted at the youth. It’s all about people living in their dreams
and of how far they are willing to go to achieve it. I can’t reveal more than
that,” he quips. What about the star cast? “There will be a mix
of Bollywood and Tellywood. Definitely, it will have more of the television fraternity.
Each of the actors will have an important character to play in the film. There
is no main lead as hero but I’m planning to approach Sushmita Sen, Bipasha Basu,
and Lara Dutta for the main lead. Let’s hope one of them agrees,” he avers.
For now, Vikram is happy with his show and wants to focus his attention
on the upcoming movies that he’ll be producing. We wish him luck!
