Malini Kapoor, who was last seen in Sahara One’s Zaara, is excited these days. After exiting from the show, the actress was on a house hunting spree and finally her search is over.

“I finally bought a one BHK flat on Malad Link Road. It’s very near by my old home and I'm enjoying doing up its furnishing,” says Malini

Elaborating about the interiors she says, “I have kept the theme of my house very earthy. My interiors are mostly covered by wooden low sitting arrangements with marble flooring. Beside that, I’m just keeping it basic as I don’t want too much stuff in this house.”

“As I live on the top floor of my building the terrace is easily accessible. I’ve given special attention to the lighting and music system as I’m very fond of it. I would love to convert my house into a disco but am not allowed to. I have kept dim lighting everywhere with a surround sound system,” she elaborates.

Malini now also plans to have a row house. “After a flat in this area, now I wish to go for a new row house in Mumbai. I always wanted to have one so this will be my target for next year. As of now, I’m happy with this flat,” she quips.

So when can we see you back on screen? “Well, I am over with my break and searching for good work. There are lots of offers but I don’t want to repeat myself. Even in between I had been doing episodics for a few shows like CID, Shhh Phir Koi Hai, etc. After doing Zaara, I don’t want to settle for anything less than that. Thus, I'm waiting for a meaty role to come my way,” avers the actress.

Malini is gunning for a luxurious bungalow next year. Let's wait and watch if and when her dream comes true. We wish her luck!
