Actress Naveena
Bole has been replaced by Shabaana Mullani in Rajan Shahi's Sapna
Babul Ka Bidaai. Naveena who was playing Dolly in the serial was
shown the door because of her unprofessional attitude. Our sources tell us that
she was doing another serial without even informing the production house. It is
reported that she used to come in late and then offer lame excuses. Naveena

We caught up with the actress for
her version. Naveena says, "It was through my coordinator Umesh that I came
to know of the auditions for Bidaai. But even before this I had already
committed for Contiloe's Bhaago
KK Aaya. I told Umesh to inform the production house about my commitment
to Bhaago
KK Aaya which he didn't bother to."
She adds, "The
problem was I had never contacted Mr. Rajan directly. I told Umesh that two shows
in hand would land me up with date issues. But as per his advice I kept shooting
day and night for Bidaai. I used to sleep for hardly one or two hours. In fact
one day I collapsed on the sets of Bhaago." The actress got to know
of her replacement from her sources. Naveena says, "What really dismayed
me was that I got to know about the replacement from my sources. The production
house didn't bother to inform me directly. As a matter of principle I had to do
Bhaago.. even though it is a weekly." Shabaana

Producer Rajan Shahi on the
other hand argues that the actress did not inform him about her other project.
Rajan says, "I asked her if she was doing any other show to which she denied.
But later she started reporting late for hours as a result of shooting for the
other serial. She started throwing tantrums on the sets which troubled everyone.
The channel was not happy with her acting but still we worked on her." He
adds, "The Bidaai team is like one family and so far there has been
no problem from any actor. This is the first replacement happening in the serial
almost after 80 episodes which we really couldn't avoid. She took us for a ride." On
her grievance that she was not informed directly the director says, "Who
would want to talk to an unethical person? We informed her coordinator about the
replacement. We gave her a second chance after she sent me her apology but things
didn't change." Well Naveena's loss is Shabaana's
gain.
