After 13 weeks of music and entertainment at Mission Ustaad, the viewers and jury crowned Roop Kumar & Sunali Rathod with the title of 'Ustaad Jodi'. The winning jodi took home a cash prize of Rs.20 lakh.

“It was a wonderful experience to be the part of the show and our hard work has been appreciated by the judges as well as audiences. We are very happy to win the contest, says Sunali.

Did you expect to take the trophy? “Yes and no. The horrifying feeling was that our winning was in the hands of the janta. We were pleasantly surprised and thrilled to know that they loved both of us in the show. We had put in a good work and public appreciated it. It’s was a mixed feeling,” she avers.

So are there chances of seeing both of you in any other reality shows? “No more reality show for us, at least not as contestants. We did Mission Ustaad as it was a rare thing. By taking up this show we are giving back something to society. The show created social awareness and I wish that this should go on with other singers participating. It was an enriching experience,” she concludes.

Though the show did not ‘enrich’ the channel much, the winning jodi sure has been enriched
