Sai Deodhar who was last seen in Sony’s Ek Ladki Anjaani Si is planning to come back on television after a short vacation. The actress will be seen in a new venture by Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi.

“No, it’s not Mahabharat but a new project of Diwediji. I have no idea on the name of the show or channel,” says Sai.

With a little prodding she adds, “It’s not on similar lines of Chandrakanta but a period drama. I’m not allowed to speak anything about the show. I can only reveal that I’m essaying an important character and the best part is that it’s a role that suits my age. It’s very different from what I have played till now. The language, the surrounding and the concept is exceptional.”

So what’s on the Bollywood front? “Well to be frank there is something but I really don’t want to talk about it until it’s finalised. Even I am waiting to let the world know but I have to wait,” she adds.

So as Sai jumps on to the period drama bandwagon lets see if she make her mark
