After Say
Shaava Shaava on NDTV Imagine, Narayani Shastri is on a sabbatical.
She is at home pursuing her hobby and waiting for some meaty role to come her
way. But more than that she is learning some salsa. “I’m
not exactly on a break but just waiting for a nice role to come my way. Till then
I’m at peace at home,” says Narayani. “I did get a few offers but
they were all the same. I don’t want to do Saas-bahu sagas any more as
I don’t want to repeat myself on television. I’m waiting for that never done before
role. Till then I would like to give sometime to my hobbies like reading, singing
and dancing,” she adds. Narayani loves to sing and dance, “After
Say Shaava Shaava I became confident about my singing and presently I’m doing
my riyaaz daily. Besides that I’ve recently joined salsa classes with my
gang of girls. Dancing is about understanding rhythm and I can do that. This makes
my task easy when I have to put two left feet on the floor,” she avers.
Narayani is perfecting the much needed Bollywood art. So is Bollywood calling
for Narayani?
