It was item girl V/S item girl during the shoot of Rakhi Sawant’s upcoming talk show Arrested By Rakhi on Zee Next. The episode focused on item girls. The guest on the show was item girl Sambhawana Seth who has completed more than 50 item songs in movies including 36 China Town. It is known that the two item girls do not get along well.

Sambhawana says, “I have never liked Rakhi for her mannerisms. I have always felt that she has a lot to do in the negative portrayal of item-girls. It is because of her that we item-girls are looked down upon and are not respected.”

So why did she agree to be a part of her show? “It was on the insistence of Shashi Ranjan and Ashok Pandit, the producers of the show that I agreed to be the guest. But the tension would be evident when you get to watch it. We both were shooting questions at each other. But there were no controversies as I respect Mr. Ranjan and Ashok that I didn’t think of doing anything of that sort.”

“I asked them if Rakhi was aware that I would be the guest on her show. Shashi and Ashok told me that she was aware and was completely ok with it. But we did not even exchange greetings,” adds the item girl.

Sambhawana feels that Rakhi has her own style and she has worked hard to reach this far. She says, “I must say that she did well on her show. You can’t expect Rakhi to be refined and polite. I believe that is her USP. But I really respect her hard work. She has come a long way.”

Rakhi on the other hand says, “There is no professional rivalry between us. Being a host of the show it is my duty to make my guest comfortable. I just did my job.”

Sambhawana feels that Rakhi’s language has improved a lot.

With two item girls together one can always expect fireworks in the house.
